Healesville Sanctuary
Your first stop for the day is Healesville Sanctuary. This zoo is dedicated to the preservation of native Australian animals and birds and the education of the public. See everything from Kangaroos and Koalas to Lace Monitors and Tasmanian Devils. Follow your tour host for a guided tour, or you can choose to explore on your own. You will have two hours to spend at Healesville Sanctuary.
Rochford Winery
A key winery in the Yarra Valley for over twenty years, Rochford Winery comprises four separate vineyards producing some of the region’s finest cool climates Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet and Shiraz. The main site also boasts two restaurants, a function venue and a 12,000-capacity outdoor amphitheatre that regularly hosts music festivals.
Enjoy a wine tasting of five wines, followed by a two-course lunch featuring local, seasonal produce.
Coombe Yarra Valley Winery
Coombe Yarra Valley is the home of iconic soprano Dame Nellie Melba, but equal recognition is deserved for the estate-grown, single-vineyard wines for their style, elegance and award-winning quality.
Enjoy your tasting experience of their full range of Coombe wines within the Cellar Door. Or enjoy the historic surroundings at Coombe with a single glass of wine.
You will arrive back at your hotel at approximately 5 pm.
